Sensei Nigel Coole with Master Takemi Takayasu 8th Dan May 2006, Paris Nigel started studying Uechi-Ryu Karate in Hong Kong in 1980. He has visited Okinawa twice to train with Master Kanei Uechi and was personally awarded his 1st Dan grading by Master Uechi in Okinawa. Since then he has studied a number of other styles but has always maintained his dedication to Uechi-Ryu Karate Do.
